i2.JP was established in Japan in November 2020 as part of AstraZeneca's global healthcare innovation network, "A.Catalyst Network," actively promoting open innovation initiatives. i2.JP connects startups, healthcare professionals, local governments, academia, and private companies to address challenges in the healthcare field and collaboratively generate practical and optimal solutions through collective intelligence. Its mission is to tackle four key challenges: achieving "patient centricity," providing added value to healthcare professionals, discovering and nurturing new technologies that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals, and optimizing healthcare systems.
